The Distracting Hobby

I remember that William Gibson had a blog for awhile, and it was pretty interesting, but then one day he decided to stop posting new entries, and he said it was because blogging was too distracting, it kept him from the good work of writing books and essays, which requires a hell of a lot more concentration than blog posts. But an article I read today, as well as a thousand other articles, says authors should try to maintain an online presence of some sort, and so I’m back. I’m going to keep the posts short, regular, and—hopefully—interesting. For the handful of you who are still around, thanks for sticking with me.
